Internet Marketing Strategy
Here the five steps internet marketing strategy for increase your sales
Step 1 – Define Your Potential Customer
Defining your customers is a very important task for this moment since you have written your business plan, that is what name the company or web site, what products you offer and what type of business you develop.
To accomplish this first step I recommend you answer the following questions:
1. My clients are Male or Female?
2. My clients work outside or inside the house?
3. What my clients have an average age?
4. From which country or countries are my prospects?
5. They are able to pay for my products or services?
6. They use them much time online?
Once you have answers to these questions, I’m sure you’ll have a picture of where you should direct all your efforts. With these simple questions have already defined the type of clients you need.
Step 2 – Select your sources
This step is about choosing exactly which are the sources of traffic that you will choose to start your marketing strategy. That is where you post your articles, web sites you use to buy traffic, you use social networks to socialize, blogs or websites that you constantly go on and leave comments.
Other platforms are going to use to create more blogs and incoming links, inbound links per month how many are willing to get. Most important in this step is to do a good investigation of all possible resources to advertise, either paid or free.
Make an Excel spreadsheet where you insert all the websites that are important to advertise and get web traffic. On that page put all statistics and conversion costs. Thus you can evaluate to determine exactly what works and what does not.
Step 3 – Budget
Many people believe that this should be the first step is to get a budget and then develop an Internet marketing plan. But in my short experience through my Internet Business Projects (www.gananciasenlared.com) I found it much easier to create the business plan and marketing plan first and then investigate how much is needed to lead successful marketing campaign.
Go through your list of traffic sources and select which are most effective to invest in ads. Always looking for more explosive results. Consider investing in PPC, either Google Adwords or Yahoo and the first week should be focused on keywords and filter ads.
Step 4 – Make your Advertising Content
Internet marketing works best when you focus on one or two things only. It is possible that you’re thinking of selling multiple products or services, but for now I recommend you choose only one or two, those that can be sold more easily, the most friendly to your target audience. The products we offer relevant content and solutions to the problems will always be the best to sell.
Then ask yourself “What am I selling” is really a good product or service? Adds value or solution? I would buy it if the customer?
The idea of selling a good product depends on the emotion that you can inject into the client, for example if you are selling cosmetics, the first thing to reflect on your products is Beauty, who see your product feel the thrill of purchase to be 10 times younger and beautiful.
Words in ads are those that have the power to persuade anyone, always use words You and Your never approaches you to write articles or classified ads Press talking about yourself. Do it with your audience, so that customers feel identified with it and not with a group of people.
Create text ads for each product of your internet marketing campaign, make sure utilizar2 or 3 keywords related to your product. Each ad text is usually 3 or 4 lines of text of 45 or 50 letters each.
Then go to your spreadsheet and select your inventory the best sources of traffic to post your ads.
Step 5 – Track and Monitor your Ads
Track, measure and evaluate is a critical activity to lead Internet marketing campaign. Constant maintenance is what differentiates a successful marketing campaign of another mediocre. If you evaluate, measure, make changes in your ads, you never know what works and what does not. For example, you may be promoting a product through a coupon, if you create an ad and landing page for that product, it’s easy to know to identify whether these good results.
There are many maintenance services such as DFP Advertising for Small Businesses by Google that allows you to track your results.
Based on the results of the first 2 weeks, review and rate your ads, as were sales? Won or lost? If something does not work replace it the next, and so on with all the announcements and resources.
Following these steps and putting them into practice I guarantee you will have a powerful Internet marketing strategy with high return on investment (ROI).
I wish you much success in your business.
